This Refund Policy explains our policies regarding refunds for StaySTRA.com subscription services.

Subscription Refunds

7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for new subscribers:

  • Applies to your first subscription payment only (Monthly or Annual)
  • Request a refund within 7 days of your initial purchase
  • Full refund, no questions asked
  • After 7 days, all subscription fees are non-refundable

After 7 Days – No Refunds

All subscription fees are non-refundable after 7 days, including:

  • Monthly subscription fees ($7/month)
  • Annual subscription fees ($59/year)
  • Renewal charges (monthly or annual)
  • Partial month or year usage

Cancellations

  • You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings
  • Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period
  • You retain access to premium features until the end of the billing period
  • No refunds are provided for the remaining time in your billing period
  • After cancellation, your account reverts to the Free plan

Plan Changes

Upgrades (Monthly → Annual)

  • Prorated credit applied for unused time on monthly plan
  • Immediate access to annual plan benefits
  • Charged the difference immediately

Downgrades (Annual → Monthly or Paid → Free)

  • Takes effect at the end of your current billing period
  • No refunds for the remaining time on your current plan
  • You keep access to current features until period ends

Failed Payments

  • If a renewal payment fails, we will attempt to charge your card up to 3 times
  • You will receive email notifications about failed payments
  • Update your payment method to avoid service interruption
  • If payment fails after retry attempts, your subscription will be cancelled
  • No refunds are provided for missed service due to failed payments

Disputes and Chargebacks

Please contact us before filing a chargeback or dispute.

  • If you file a chargeback, your account will be immediately suspended
  • Most issues can be resolved through our support team
  • Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund (within 7 days of initial purchase):

  1. Email us at [email protected]
  2. Include your account email address
  3. State “Refund Request” in the subject line
  4. Provide your reason for the refund (optional but helpful)

We will process approved refunds within 5-10 business days to your original payment method.

Exceptions

Refunds may be granted outside the 7-day window in exceptional circumstances:

  • Service was unavailable for an extended period due to our fault
  • You were charged in error (duplicate charge, wrong amount, etc.)
  • Technical issues prevented you from using the Service
  • As required by law in your jurisdiction

Free Plan

  • The Free plan has no subscription fees
  • No refunds are applicable to Free plan users
  • Free plan features may change at any time

Price Changes

  • We may change subscription prices with 30 days’ notice
  • Existing subscribers keep their current price until renewal
  • Price increases do not entitle you to a refund
  • You may cancel before the price increase takes effect
